Electrospinning Setup
Electrospinning is a fiber production method that utilizes electrostatic forces to draw charged threads of polymer solutions, creating nanofibers with diameters ranging from nanometers to micrometers. This technique involves applying a high voltage electric field, causing a polymer solution to deform into a Taylor cone, which then ejects a charged jet of liquid. Electrospun nanofibers find applications in various fields, including tissue engineering, drug delivery, energy storage, sensors, etc.
